A Roulette wheel has many numbered slots on it, into which a spinning ball has to drop. The game involves guessing where the ball will drop. The dealer spins the Roulette wheel, launches the ball and takes the bets. In the USA they use a Roulette wheel with two zeros while in Europe they use a Roulette wheel with one zero. So the American game is based on 38 slots while the European game is based on 37 slots.
